The first ring, which is the smallest, contains 20 plots in total, while the second ring, which is the current highest, contains 28 plots. Though while players are only limited to one plot each, it is possible to build a larger shop through collaboration with another player, thus granting it twice the building space from the original. One could go further by utilizing the spaces on the corners of each ring, and perhaps, even merge plots with a third player(though a 3-player shop is still yet to be seen). Basements could also be built, so long as it stays within y 55 and is still bounded by its corresponding plot border(s).

The Main Shopping District is the first shopping district ever built on the CommunityCraft SMP server(and would likely be the only one), currently consisting of 2 concentric rings with square-shaped plots. The first ring, which is the smallest, contains 20 plots in total, while the second ring, which is larger, contains 28 plots. Basements can also be built, so long as it stays within y 55 and is still bounded by its corresponding plot border(s).

The district is easily accessed through the nether highway as it is near the spawn islands. As of this moment, unlike it's expansion area, it possesses a unique overworld portal, being that of a dragon's skull in the midst of the plots along with it's accompanying market decorations.

The Great Draining

Beginning in as early as of November 1, 2024, the district underwent what would later be called as "The Great Draining", a month-long server project aiming to drain the ocean underneath for the purpose of expanding the district downwards. During this time, Timmootayy(former Shopping District Manager), Odin__AllFather, the Industrial Coalition, as well as some players, joined forces to complete this task. The Great Draining officially concluded on the 30th of November, opening the basement option for all shop owners. This too brought a familiar Pokemon character built at the base of the drained floor, which would serve as a pvp arena later on.
