The Abyss SMP was at first run by cyber_, but not realizing how much work a small server needed, was soon taken over by an admin who was quickly growing in popularity, Stoneshatter. Stoneshatter was a good leader and worked well in a team at this point in time, but unfortunately, this would not last. In early June of 2024, just over a month since Abyss's end fight, Abyss SMP was shut down.

At first, people had no idea what caused the shutdown of Abyss. There was no communication from Stoneshatter whatsoever until four days later. It was then revealed that due to the payment plan, if Stoneshatter renewed the server, then apparently cyber_ (the previous owner) would have access to his payment information. However, many server members did not believe this, and thought about why they had to make a new world, instead of using the previous map. No answer was given. This caused many players to not join the new server: Beansprout SMP.

At first, there was no name for this server. A few names were introduced, however the name "Beansprout" soon took hold. However, this did not last long, as it was soon called the CommunityCraft SMP. The newly named CommunityCraft SMP quickly increased in popularity, as Stoneshatter continued to post on Reddit threads and similar websites. Unfortunately, Stoneshatter started to go on a rampage. In fact, by early October, 2024, many players were banned either without reason or with no second chance. There was even a discord server for players who were banned without reason. These were the building blocks for the Shattering.
== '''The Shattering | October 6 2024''' ==
The Shattering was a very big event. Out of nowhere, the server shut down. The entire CC discord, along with the old Abyss discord, was deleted and wiped from existence. Unfortunately, we cannot go back to these servers to gather more information about both Shatterings. A new discord was created, and in the blink of an eye, a new Minecraft server was created by [[Odin AllFather]]. Unfortunately, contact has been made with Stoneshatter, but they have refused to answer any questions about the subject.
