== '''The Fall of Abyss | June 16 - June 20 2024''' == At first, people had no idea what caused the shutdown of Abyss. There was no communication from Stoneshatter whatsoever until four days later. It was then revealed that due to the payment plan, if Stoneshatter renewed the server, then apparently cyber_ (the previous owner) would have access to his payment information. However, many server members did not believe this, and thought about why they had to make a new world, instead of using the previous map. No answer was given. This caused many players to not join the new server: Beansprout SMP.
