The Baker is a hidden entity(or at least presumed to be) that holds responsible for the seemingly random placement of cake blocks all throughout the server. So far, these committed "atrocities" at best, serve to be a minor inconvenience. Nobody claims to be The Baker as of now, though players said to have discovered its identity found themselves "attacked" by the cake mobs.

There was a noticeable decline in their activity as of recently, that was until May 20 2025, 5:00 pm in GMT+9 when a player named ChiChiCrisis found themself in the receiving end of a cake attack while afking in their base.

Apparently, the Baker has also reportedly "bulked caked" Odin himself, going so far as to fill up their room in the inn while he was AFK.

=== What is the mayor and what is the voting process? ===
The Mayor of [[Spawn]] is a role taken up by any member of the community. The mayor of spawn is voted approximately every month, so each term lasts about four weeks.

The Mayor selection process takes a couple of days to a week. All the candidates create their manifesto which are posted in the community craft discord server and a live debate is scheduled where residents of spawn have the chance to get their burning questions answered!

The vote is then posted into the discord server, for 24-48 hours, any member of the discord server can vote for their preferred candidate, after the vote ends, the winner becomes the new mayor of spawn!

The Main Shopping District is the first shopping district ever built on the CommunityCraft SMP server(and would likely be the only one), currently consisting of 2 concentric rings with square-shaped plots. The first ring, which is the smallest, contains 20 plots in total, while the second ring, which is larger, contains 28 plots. Though while players are only limited to one plot each, it is possible to build a larger shop through collaboration with another player, thus granting it twice the building space from the original. One could go further by utilizing the spaces on the corners of each ring, and perhaps, even merge plots with a third player(though a 3-player shop is still yet to be seen). Basements can also be built, so long as it stays within y 55 and is still bounded by its corresponding plot border(s).

The district is easily accessed through the nether highway as it is near the spawn islands. As of this moment, unlike it's expansion area, it possesses a unique overworld portal, being that of a dragon's skull in the midst of the plots along with it's accompanying market decorations.

Planning

The Great Draining

Beginning in as early as of November 1, 2024, the district underwent what would later be called as "The Great Draining", a month-long server project aiming to drain the ocean underneath for the purpose of expanding the district downwards. During this time, Timmootayy(former Shopping District Manager), Odin__AllFather, the Industrial Coalition, as well as some players, joined forces to complete this task. The Great Draining officially concluded on the 30th of November, opening the basement option for all shop owners. This too brought a familiar Pokemon character built at the base of the drained floor, which would serve as a pvp arena later on.
